    For those of you

For those of you who requested Jungle King, that’s what Paul is playing today. We would’ve shoe-horned in a joke about it but we started riffin’ on Planet of the Apes. It was an inevitability.

In other news, I am moved and for a goodly percentage unpacked and slightly organized. The midnight showing of Harry Potter almost prevented a Friday strip, but fortunately for you my workplace has been damaged by high winds and they told me not to come in.

    We’re all goin’ die!

Oh the times, they are a-changin’

So, as you no doubt have noticed, we’re on a bit of a break here while James continues the process of taking all his crap and moving it from Old House to New House via Parents’ House. Still, since I made a promise to a lady, I scribbled a special “farewell, Angel” strip to fling up on this day, the day of the final Angel. Sure, a lesser man would have let his staggering lack of artistic ability dissuade him from his task, but not me. I’m crazy like that.

    Anyway, just know that…

    A) James’ move is almost one-third completed, which means that

    B) The intermission will end in a couple of weeks, at which time

    C) I will resume just writing scripts and will never, EVER try and draw a strip again.

    I promise.

    Grrr, arrrgh.

Thanks to Google, Blogger has now been improved to use comments. All new posts are now “comment-enabled”. Which means that if you don’t want to use the Forums you can still post commentary on the latest post. Feel free to use either. Don’t be vulgar though. That will get comments deleted and make us force you to register with Blogger.com to post comments. Between that and the forums, that’s too much registration. Play nice.

Today’s strip is pretty self explanatory. But since Marlowe’s still letting Felicia strap things to his burned arm, methinks the Monkey doth protest to much.

    New.. technology… must add… doo-dads.

    WARNING! Surgeon General warns…

WARNING! Surgeon General warns smoking is dangerous. For those of you just joining us, Felicia had earlier mentioned “Hawking” Marlowe up. Stephen Hawking is, of course, the disabled physics genius who uses a computer synthesizer to communicate with the brainless people walking around him. So in that vein, Felicia is using her electrical engineering degree to help our vocally challenged monkey genius.

In other news, I’m moving in a couple of weeks so I’m not certain if we’re going to have strips week after next or the week after that and maybe not until, like, June 4. I think we’ll be able to make it through next Friday though. I may run substitute strips of my much less professionally done earlier works.

    Haz-ard to your health.

Uh, we had a slight internet malfunction, but uh… everything’s perfectly all right now. We’re fine. We’re all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

    We’re sending a squad up…

Uh, uh, negative. We have a router leak here now. Give us a minute to lock it down. Large leak, very dangerous.

Anyway, the DSL issues have been resolved and new funny is up for your reading and love. So read it. And love it.

    Won’t you?

My name is Inigo Montoya. You ate my monkey. Prepare to die.
