    1.35846e+17 Monkeys

1.35846e+17 Monkeys can’t be wrong. It is very hard to get a monkey to type even a sentence of Shakespeare. Check out the Monkey Shakespeare Simulator (dead link) to determine the lunacy of trying to randomly generate prose. If you want to do it the hard way check out The SIMI Project. Great minds think a’like monkeys. (an MTV’s The State reference)

The monkeys, they don’t do it, eh. They make love.

How will the events of today’s strip be resolved? Will Marlowe get gutted? Why the hell does Felicia have a surgical scalpel just laying around the house? Will Marlowe ever get a nice pair of monkey pants? (And if he does, will he mock people with them?) Why do monkeys and vampires love Passions? And just where do Paul and Felicia get those wonderful toys?

For the answers to these questions and more, be sure and join us Monday for our epic 25th strip…Same Monkey-time, same Monkey-URL!

    Irish Need Not Apply

Ah, it’s March 17th, which can only mean one thing: It’s time to trivialize centuries of Irish suffering and tragedy with the donning of green plastic derby hats and the adding of food coloring to beer. As a contrarian of Irish descent, I’d be offended by the whole tawdry affair, but I do enjoy festive headgear and green beer, so I’ll let it slide. Just keep giving U2 Grammys and we’ll call it even.

Now, on to some other odds and ends. Some of you may have been vexed trying to figure out what, exactly, Felicia’s t-shirt says this week. With today’s strip, you can clearly see that it says “JOSS”, but non-fanboys still may not know what it all means, man. It’s a nod and a wink to God himself, Joss Whedon, creator of many hours of quality filmed television entertainment, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Angel to the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it classic sci-fi Western Firefly.

Also, ‘Licia’s “Joss” shirt is in no way a knock-off or rip-off of the “Joss” shirt our friend Dawn wore to Melody’s birthday-related gathering at Perfect Swing in Norman. (Motto: Come Frolic In Our Squalor) Nope. Nuh-uh.

It IS a remarkable coincidence, tho. Downright eerie, if ya ask me.

    Kiss me, I’m Irish.

    Wrong again, Dr. Fell

The comic you were referring to was posted on Friday. Monday’s strip didn’t occur due to acute gamer-itis. (It’s not catching, honest). Anyway, we’re back on track. There was some Wrestle-mania Sunday that prevented Pelts from kicking my ass and making me draw a strip. Ironic isn’t it?

No one wants to hear what you dreamt about, unless you dreamt about them. (Built to Spill, of course)

i think it is more like a dream sequence couple of weeks. a week is usually defined as a 7 day period. Whatever the Star wars strip rocks…
