Guess what’s new? More excuses from me. I had plenty of time to finish Friday’s strip and even do a Monday strip. Instead I continued cleaning my house. What was going to be Friday’s strip lacks one panel being completely pencilled. Instead of completing it, I opted instead for being on-time for work.

After a busy day yesterday I managed to get Friday’s strip mostly sketched last night. That leaves some detail work, inking, coloring and lettering. I may have it up tonight. It may take until Saturday afternoon. So for those of you weekday only readers you may have two new strips by Monday.

Sorry for the unexpected hiatus, I had some bad travel, illness and resulting exhaustion. It took me a while to get stuff organized again. We now resume our story in progress….
Previously on The Monkey Project, the Monkey Project discovered Marlowe’s whereabouts because of a stream of plot devices designed to make the Monkey Project discover Marlowe’s whereabouts. Also, more characters have shown up. Marlowe is fully aware of the conflict and has initiated some yet-to-be-revealed plan to deal with it.
Wednesday on a very special episode…
I’b jus a li’l bit swolleb in the face due to an abscess in my already bad fang. This may have been making me a bit lethargic lately or so we can hope that’s the reason for the constantly late or missing strips. Good old Doc Rains bored a hole in crown and depussified it, but I still look like a prize fighter after a losing match on the left side of my face. Maybe someday we will resume our current storyline. If you’re lucky!

Due to lateness today’s strip will be late. Like later on tonight maybe. It’s all inked up and ready for colors and letters and stuff, but I know you guys like the colors and letters. So hang on for a bit or come back tomorrow morning or this evening or review the old strips a bit.
